Wool Pots at BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2026

We’re packing the pots, rounding up the sheep and heading to Birmingham!

Wool Pots will be exhibiting at BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2026, taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 18–21 June 2026.

It is one of the biggest gardening events of the year, bringing together beautiful gardens, brilliant plants, expert advice and hundreds of gardening brands under one roof. We’re delighted to be part of it and cannot wait to meet gardeners from across the country.

Discover a natural alternative to plastic plant pots

Wool Pots began with two problems.

More than 500 million plastic plant pots are sent to landfill in the UK every year, while large quantities of British wool have too little commercial value and may otherwise go to waste.

We thought there had to be a better way.

Our award-winning plant pots transform natural wool into practical, biodegradable and plastic-free growing pots that are better for plants and kinder to the planet.

At BBC Gardeners’ World Live, you’ll be able to see Wool Pots up close, feel the natural material and find out how they work.

Why grow in Wool Pots?

Wool Pots are not simply an alternative to plastic. The natural qualities of wool can also help plants thrive.

Wool Pots can:

• Encourage strong, healthy root growth
• Retain moisture and gradually release it back to the plant
• Reduce the amount of watering required
• Help protect plants from sudden changes in temperature
• Naturally discourage slugs and snails
• Be planted directly into the ground, helping to avoid root disturbance
• Gradually break down and return nutrients to the soil

There is no plastic pot to remove and no empty container left behind. Simply grow your plant, plant the whole Wool Pot into the ground and let nature do the rest.

Come and meet the people behind the pots

One of the best parts of attending a gardening show is meeting the people who use our products—or are discovering them for the first time.

Whether you are an experienced gardener, an allotment grower, a houseplant enthusiast or planting your very first seeds, come and have a chat with us.

We’ll be happy to explain:

• How to plant and water in Wool Pots
• Which plants grow well in them
• When and how to plant them into the ground
• How wool helps support healthier root development
• How making a small change to your plant pots can reduce plastic waste

You’ll also be able to explore our Wool Pots products and discover new ways to make your gardening a little greener.

Join the plant pot revolution

BBC Gardeners’ World Live is always full of ideas that make us want to get home and start planting. We hope Wool Pots will be one of the ideas you take back to your own garden this year.

Come and see us at BBC Gardeners’ World Live at the NEC Birmingham from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 June 2026.
